Problem
Architectural drawings hold a great deal of information, but a television audience has only moments to absorb it. The work was deciding what to show, what to simplify, and how to make a complex design follow inside a short broadcast segment.
Outcome
With the project unbuilt, the animation became the primary way viewers met the architecture. It let Māori Television present the design as an experience rather than a set of drawings.
