A contemporary interpretation of the traditional Whare Tapere, designed as a cultural gathering space that celebrates Māori performance, storytelling, and community through architecture. The proposal combines accommodation, sports and recreation facilities, and flexible event spaces to create a destination that supports cultural exchange, recreation, and community connection while reimagining the role of the Whare Tapere in a contemporary setting.
